What We'll Cover

  • Adding your most important tasks

  • Assigning tasks to projects

  • Blocking time for tomorrow before anything else

Add five tasks, block two of them for tomorrow, and close the app. That is the goal of the next ten minutes.

Step 1: Add your most important tasks

Click New Task. Add the 5 to 10 tasks most important to you right now. Use specific titles โ€” "Write homepage copy" is more useful than "Content".

Step 2: Assign tasks to projects

On Intelligence, Aftertone auto-tags a project for each task. On Essentials, click the project field on each task to assign manually. Fine to leave some unassigned at first.

Step 3: Block time for tomorrow

In the Calendar view, drag your top 3 tasks from the side panel onto the calendar for tomorrow. Pick times when you do your best work. Blocks appear in Google Calendar automatically if you have connected it.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Try it now โ€” Add five tasks and drag two into tomorrow before you close the app. Tomorrow morning, open Aftertone and press Tab to start.
