How to Cancel Tiimo
Written By The Aftertone Team
Why people leave Tiimo
Tiimo is built specifically for ADHD and neurodivergent users who benefit from visual time representation. If you're looking for something more complete -- a system that handles the week as a whole, integrates work tasks with a calendar, and gives you data on whether your focus time is productive.
Before you cancel Tiimo
A few things worth checking before you close the account:
Export your tasks and data. Most Tiimo data can be downloaded from Settings. Look for an Export or Backup option and save a CSV โ you'll want this before the account goes read-only.
Check your billing date. Cancelling stops the next charge, but you usually keep access until the current period ends. There's no need to rush the switch.
Note any integrations. If Tiimo is connected to Google Calendar, Slack, or other tools, those connections will stop working after cancellation. Reconnect them in your new app once you've switched.
How to cancel Tiimo
Tiimo uses Apple in-app purchases. Cancel via App Store: go to your Apple ID, then Subscriptions, find Tiimo and cancel.
What happens after you cancel Tiimo
Your Tiimo account stays active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. You won't lose access immediately. Use that window to export your data and get set up somewhere new before the account closes.
If you're on an annual plan and cancel partway through, check Tiimo's refund policy โ some apps will prorate the unused months, others won't.
What Aftertone does differently
Aftertone works well for ADHD users too. The Focus Screen removes everything except the current task. Auto Plan structures the week in advance. The weekly report provides the external feedback loop that ADHD brains benefit from.
How to get your data out of Tiimo
Step 1. Tiimo is a visual daily planner โ it doesn't have a bulk task export.
Step 2. Note your recurring activities and open tasks, then paste into Aftertone's Smart Capture.
Tiimo is built for visual daily structure, particularly for ADHD. Aftertone's Focus Screen (one task at a time) and Auto Plan work similarly โ confirm your day, then execute one item at a time.
How to set up Aftertone
2. Download Aftertone. Free 14-day trial at aftertone.io/get-started. No card required.
3. Connect Google Calendar. Your existing events pull in immediately. Your calendar and tasks are now in one view.
4. Plan your first week. Use Auto Plan to schedule your tasks. The weekly report will tell you at the end of the week whether it worked.
