How to Cancel Akiflow

Written By The Aftertone Team

Why people leave Akiflow

Akiflow costs $34/month with no free trial. You commit before you know if it works for you. The command bar is genuinely fast, but the AI chatbot layer added later made the product feel less focused. A lot of users leave because the price no longer matches what the product does for them.

Before you cancel Akiflow

A few things worth checking before you close the account:

Export your tasks and data. Most Akiflow data can be downloaded from Settings. Look for an Export or Backup option and save a CSV โ€” you'll want this before the account goes read-only.

Check your billing date. Cancelling stops the next charge, but you usually keep access until the current period ends. There's no need to rush the switch.

Note any integrations. If Akiflow is connected to Google Calendar, Slack, or other tools, those connections will stop working after cancellation. Reconnect them in your new app once you've switched.

How to cancel Akiflow

Open Akiflow, go to Settings, then Subscription. Click Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of your current billing period.

What happens after you cancel Akiflow

Your Akiflow account stays active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. You won't lose access immediately. Use that window to export your data and get set up somewhere new before the account closes.

If you're on an annual plan and cancel partway through, check Akiflow's refund policy โ€” some apps will prorate the unused months, others won't.

What Aftertone does differently

Aftertone is $20/month with a 14-day free trial and no card required, so you know whether it works before you spend anything. No annual lock-in on the monthly plan.
