AI Extract lets you paste meeting notes, emails, or screenshots and instantly turns them into structured tasks. This release also rebuilds the planning view and adds one-click meeting joins directly from calendar events.
New Features
AI Extract: import tasks from any text or screenshot
AI Extract is now live. Open Quick Capture with Option Space, paste any block of text or take a screenshot, then press Command G. Aftertone reads the content and generates structured tasks from it, emails, meeting notes, project briefs, Slack threads, PDFs, screenshots of other tools. Migration from Notion, Linear, Asana, ClickUp, or anywhere else takes seconds, not hours.
Auto-classification: tasks are sorted into projects and tagged automatically
Auto-classification automatically assigns tasks created by AI Extract to the right project and adds the right tags. The model learns from every correction you make and gets more accurate over time. Less tidying. More doing.
Rebuilt planning view with continuous scroll kanban
The planning and kanban view is rebuilt from the ground up, a continuous scroll kanban of your days alongside your task inbox. Switch between Projects, Date, and Tags views to see your work from any angle. The picture you need, the moment you need it.
One-click meeting join from calendar events
Calendar events now have a direct join button inside Aftertone. The Google Meet, Zoom, or Teams link is there when you need it. No switching apps. No searching your inbox. You stay in Aftertone until the moment the meeting starts.
