Aftertone is always open. Even when it isn't.
Quick Capture (Option Space) lets you add tasks from anywhere on your Mac in under three seconds, without opening Aftertone. This release also adds task notes with markdown support and recurring tasks.

Quick Capture: add tasks system-wide with Option Space
The native macOS Quick Capture bar is here. Press Option Space from anywhere on your Mac, even if Aftertone is not open. A lightweight window appears, you type, you press Enter, and you are back to what you were doing. The thought is captured. Nothing is lost. Nothing interrupts the work. Requires accessibility permissions in System Settings.
Task notes: attach markdown notes directly to any task
Task notes let you attach markdown notes to any task, event, or slot. The brief, the link, the spec, the context. All of it lives in the task. When you open it in Focus Mode, you start immediately instead of spending the first two minutes tracking down what you needed.
Recurring tasks: set tasks to repeat on a schedule
Recurring tasks are now available for both unscheduled and scheduled tasks. Set it once. Aftertone handles the rest. The work that needs to happen every week is already in your inbox before you have to think about it.
