Release 1.4.7

Issue No. 6

Your calendar, finally as fast as you think.

Calendar interactions are faster and more precise. This release adds block snapping, copy/cut/paste on the calendar, duration indicators while dragging, new keyboard shortcuts, and clearer inbox action icons.

New Features

Calendar snapping: task blocks align automatically when dragged or resized

Tasks now snap to existing blocks when you resize and drag. Your calendar stays clean and aligned without manual adjustment. Place a block and Aftertone finds the natural fit.

Copy, cut, and paste tasks on the calendar

Copy, cut, and paste tasks directly on the calendar. Move work around your week the same way you move text in a document. Fast, intuitive, and long overdue.

Time indicators: see exact duration while dragging or resizing a block

Time indicators now appear while you are resizing and dragging a block. You can see the exact duration before you place it, no more dropping a task and then adjusting it because the size was off.

Keyboard shortcuts for planning and calendar view

New keyboard shortcuts across the planning and calendar views let you build and adjust your day without reaching for the mouse. The faster you plan, the sooner you can stop planning.

Inbox action icons: schedule, assign, or handle tasks without opening detail panel

Action icons on inbox tasks make it easier to see what each task needs at a glance: schedule it, assign a project, or handle it without clicking into the detail panel.

What's next

The weekly report is coming in the next release. For the first time you will be able to see your flow sessions, your peak day, and your actual work timeline laid out clearly, the honest account of where your week went. This is the feature we have been building toward since the beginning.

Vote on what comes after it.
