Release 1.4.0

Written By: Niall Jawad

Issue No. 5

Inbox zero you actually earned.

Inbox zero now requires every task to be scheduled or sorted — when you get there, the wallpaper unblurs. This release also brings a rebuilt inbox sidebar, a new Schedule Now bar, open-ended tasks, and an improved onboarding flow.

New Features

Inbox zero: wallpaper unblurs only when every task is scheduled or sorted

Your inbox can now only be cleared when every task is scheduled on your calendar or consciously sorted to a project or future date. When you hit zero, the wallpaper unblurs. It is a small moment and a genuine one. Evidence that the day is actually set.

Rebuilt inbox sidebar with faster layout and task navigation

The new inbox sidebar gives you faster access to your tasks with a better layout that makes it easier to move through your inbox without losing context. Planning your day just got a step quicker.

Rebuilt Schedule Now bar: create tasks, events, and slots with projects and tags from one place

The rebuilt Schedule Now bar lets you switch between task, event and slot types and add projects or tags from the same place without navigating anywhere. One bar. Everything you need to schedule.

Open-ended tasks: incomplete tasks automatically extend when their block ends

Open-ended tasks now extend automatically when their block ends without the task being completed. Your schedule adjusts. The work stays in your day rather than disappearing into the inbox.

New onboarding flow for first-time users

New onboarding flow for everyone starting from scratch. Cleaner, faster, and designed to get you to your first focused session as quickly as possible.
