Why people leave TickTick
TickTick covers a lot of ground -- tasks, calendar, habits, Pomodoro timer. That breadth is also its weakness: it tries to do everything and ends up doing none of it as well as a dedicated tool. Mac users who want a native, focused planning experience find it too cross-platform and too cluttered.
Before you cancel Ticktick
A few things worth checking before you close the account:
Export your tasks and data. Most Ticktick data can be downloaded from Settings. Look for an Export or Backup option and save a CSV — you'll want this before the account goes read-only.
Check your billing date. Cancelling stops the next charge, but you usually keep access until the current period ends. There's no need to rush the switch.
Note any integrations. If Ticktick is connected to Google Calendar, Slack, or other tools, those connections will stop working after cancellation. Reconnect them in your new app once you've switched.

In TickTick, go to Settings, then Subscription, and cancel. Or log into ticktick.com and manage from Account Settings.

What happens after you cancel Ticktick
Your Ticktick account stays active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. You won't lose access immediately. Use that window to export your data and get set up somewhere new before the account closes.
If you're on an annual plan and cancel partway through, check Ticktick's refund policy — some apps will prorate the unused months, others won't.
