Why people leave SkedPal
SkedPal auto-schedules your task list into your calendar. The algorithm is clever but loss of control is the common complaint -- users find their day restructured in ways that don't match how they actually work.
Before you cancel Skedpal
A few things worth checking before you close the account:
Export your tasks and data. Most Skedpal data can be downloaded from Settings. Look for an Export or Backup option and save a CSV — you'll want this before the account goes read-only.
Check your billing date. Cancelling stops the next charge, but you usually keep access until the current period ends. There's no need to rush the switch.
Note any integrations. If Skedpal is connected to Google Calendar, Slack, or other tools, those connections will stop working after cancellation. Reconnect them in your new app once you've switched.

Your Skedpal account stays active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. You won't lose access immediately. Use that window to export your data and get set up somewhere new before the account closes.
If you're on an annual plan and cancel partway through, check Skedpal's refund policy — some apps will prorate the unused months, others won't.
