Why people leave Any.do
Any.do covers tasks, a calendar layer, and AI assistance, but doesn't go deep on any of it. The calendar view is basic, time blocking is limited, and Mac users find the experience feels more like a mobile-first app ported to desktop.
Before you cancel Any Do
A few things worth checking before you close the account:
Export your tasks and data. Most Any Do data can be downloaded from Settings. Look for an Export or Backup option and save a CSV — you'll want this before the account goes read-only.
Check your billing date. Cancelling stops the next charge, but you usually keep access until the current period ends. There's no need to rush the switch.
Note any integrations. If Any Do is connected to Google Calendar, Slack, or other tools, those connections will stop working after cancellation. Reconnect them in your new app once you've switched.
How to cancel Any.do
In Any.do, go to Settings, then Subscription, and cancel. You keep premium features until the period ends.
What happens after you cancel Any Do
Your Any Do account stays active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. You won't lose access immediately. Use that window to export your data and get set up somewhere new before the account closes.
If you're on an annual plan and cancel partway through, check Any Do's refund policy — some apps will prorate the unused months, others won't.
