Check https://culturedcode.com for live status. If Things 3 is not listed as having an active incident, the issue may be on your end -- try restarting the app or checking your internet connection.
What to do right now
1. Open Google Calendar directly. Your events sync there regardless of whether Things 3 is working.
2. Write your three priorities for the day. Open Notes or grab a piece of paper. Three things that have to happen today. Things 3 going down does not change what matters.
3. Check Things 3's status. Things 3 syncs via CloudKit. If sync is not working, check Apple's system status at apple.com/support/systemstatus. The app itself still works offline.
