Release Pause, resume, and colour-coded tasks.
Four new features, fifteen bugs fixed. Tasks can now be paused and resumed, marked as unfinished and returned to Today, and automatically coloured by project or tag. Notes moves to Cmd+J.
New Features
Pause and resume tasks
Press Space to pause a task mid-session without losing your place. Aftertone holds the timer, keeps the block in your calendar, and picks up exactly where you left off when you resume. For when you need to step away without marking something done.
Mark tasks as unfinished
Not done, but done for now. Press R to mark a task as unfinished — Aftertone records the time you spent, closes the current block, and creates a fresh instance straight into your Today view ready to reschedule.
Auto-colour by project and tag
Tasks now inherit the colour of their project or tag automatically. Open any task and choose Edit to override it.
Cleaner event edit pop-up
The event edit pop-up now. Faster to open, less visual noise, everything you need to change in one place. Small thing. Makes a difference when you are editing events back to back.
Notes shortcut is now Cmd+J
Notes has moved to Command J. Faster to reach, and frees up Command N for immediately scheduling a task.
